Bill Finch was a long-time garden columnist for the Mobile Press-Register, al.com and Alabama Gardening magazine; a featured guest on WKRG News 5 television, former Executive Director of the Mobile Botanical Gardens, co-author of the acclaimed book “Longleaf Far As The Eye Can See”, speaker, researcher, educator and in his “spare” time the host of Plain Living with Bill Finch radio show. Every Sunday morning from 9 to 11 on FM Talk 1065 Bill talks about gardening and life in our unique corner of the world. A native of DeSoto, Mississippi, Bill spent many of his growing-up years in Mobile.
